Biohome Brick

Description

The Brick was developed specifically for marine coral tanks, but this filter media should also work well in fresh or salt water sumps as well. Each Brick measures 8 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ x 1 7/8″ (209.55 mm x 95.25mm x 47.62mm) and weighs approximately 1.2 kgs (2.6 lbs).

The Brick is manufactured from the same recycled glass used to make the Ultra and Mini media. The Bricks are fired at a higher temperature for improved strength and durability.

Each Brick is formed with three through holes and a castellated upper surface to increase the outer surface area and improve water flow through and around the media.  There are also six holes on the top of the Brick to accept Frag Plugs.
