Happy Holidays Don!
I wanted to give you an update on what Biohome Ultimate is doing for my tanks.
It’s been a few months since I started to use Biohome Ultimate and all I can say is that Biohome has done all it says it would do!
My water parameters are always pristine!…….
Ammonia- 0
Nitrite- 0
Nitrate- 10-20
Phosphate- 0
I truly believe that my Biohome Ultimate has helped keep my water parameters so good that my Lamprologus Ocellatus “Gold”, Kribensis, Neolamprologus Brichardi, and Congo Tetras have bred a couple of times ever since adding Biohome Ultimate to my filtration system. The only sad part is that the tank with my Congo Tetras are not in a tank to where I can collect their eggs, but they do spawn frequently and the other fish have caviar as a snack.
To anyone who has any doubts about Biohome, look at the pictures below, this is what Biohome has helped me accomplish.

Hi Don,
I just want to write to you about my experience with Biohome Ultimate.
Let me start by saying I have WASTED over $100.00 in trying other brands of biological filtration. Even though I have only had Biohome Ultimate in my Tanganyikan Shell/Rock Dweller tank for only a short time I can say with the untmost certianty that my water is a 1000% clearer and cleaner! My Lamprologus Ocellatus Gold had babies a couple days before changing to Biohome Ultimate and even though I didn’t go by “the book” when changing any type of filtration, I went ahead and replaced all of my old biological filtration with Biohome Ultimate (I did use old canister filter water and kinda “seeded” the Biohome Ultimate one by one). And the fry are doing just fine! My water parameters are also doing good! I did have an ammonia spike the second day but by the 3rd day it had dropped to almost zero and a day later it was at zero.
As you know a few days after that I ordered another kg of Biohome Ultimate and once I got it I put it in my planted tank aquarium. And like my Tanganyikan, my planted community tank is doing “Ultimate-ly” fine!
I will be telling anyone who wants to listen and who wants to have crystal clear clean water that they should be using Biohome Ultimate!
I also wanted to show you a picture of my breeding pair of Lamprologus Ocellatus Gold, and as you can see the water is just crystal clear!
