Description

Biohome BioMotion Media is a light weight, spherical media. It was specifically developed for moving bed filters.  Care must be taken to place it in the proper shaped container and adjust the agitation flow to move it gently.

Biohome BioMotion Media is sold by the liter.  1 liter of media is approximately equal to 364 grams (12.8 ounces),  .9 quart or 61 cu in. To see how much your filter requires return to the Home page and click on the link at the top, “How Much Do I Need“.

Complimentary Filter Starter Balls (1/4 Bag per Liter) are shipped with each order. The media recovers quickly after the use of medications.

Biohome BioMotion Media is a biological filter media and good mechanical filtration must be provided to insure the water passing through it does not contain any debris that might clog it.

    Great stuff. Noticeable wear in a few balls (5-10) in a month’s time. Don is awesome.

      Thanks for the feedback. Be sure you aren’t agitating the BioMotion too much. Just a little movement is all that’s required. If the movement is too violent, it will wear away prematurely. I’ve run it in my koi filters for more than a year. I’m sure it has worn some, but not noticeably.

    Biohome is the best BioMotion is new to me and I plan on using it in my HOB filters. I have been using the Mini and breaking it in half to increase the amount of Media. I love it and wouldn’t use anything else. I’m trying the BioMotion and I expect the same excellent results. I like the smaller size, I’ll be able to use a greater amount of Media, and won’t have to mess with breaking it in half. I might add that Don of Great Wave is terrific to deal with. Terrific business.
