i ordered 2 pounds on Amazon and really liked it, so I Googled it and came here to order more. I already left a review on Amazon, but I wanted to share it here too. This media is awesome, just be patient and give the beneficial bacteria time to mature. Once it’s established,, it keeps your water clear, healthy, and balanced

Honestly, this stuff works great. I added Biohome Ultimate to my filter, and after a few weeks the water got clearer and the tank’s been super stable. Once the bacteria are fully established, everything just stays balanced, no ammonia or nitrite spikes. It’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it if you want your tank to run smoother. i mean it’s the best media money could buy
